MY SUV CHOICE

2000 Isuzu Amigo

The flexibility of configurations made available to the 2000 Isuzu Amigo is one of its strong points. All choices can have either the soft top or the hard top which can be matched to two engine types, the 130-horsepower cast-iron 2.2-liter inline four-cylinder and the 205-horsepower 3.2-liter aluminum-alloy V6. a choice between the five-speed manual and four-speed automatic overdrive transmission is also available.

2000 Isuzu Amigo Review

The Amigo is the two-door counterpart of the larger four-door Isuzu Rodeo; they also share the same power train and most mechanical components. Because this compact SUV is available in two designs, its wise to consider which best fits your lifestyle. The non-removable Hard Top Amigo is the more practical choice (not everyday is a sunny day!), aside from offering additional safety because of the covered top it also gives a distinctive reserved style. But if it's aggressive spunk that you want, then the soft top is definitely for you. The Isuzu Amigo Soft Top is definitely a head turner with its stylish funky design; it's a winning combination of good looks and great performance.

The 2000 Isuzu Amigo's interior may be wanting in the style department inside but it?s definitely utilitarian in every way. The features are down to the basics, instruments are simple and the seats are comfortable. Cargo space is flexible as the rear area is capable of accommodating extra cargo and passengers. The Hard Top provides additional protection to sensitive cargo while the Soft Top is preferable for extra sized goods and luggage.
